An International forum against drug trafficking in the Asian Oceanic Region will commence in Colombo tomorrow. It has been organized by the Ministry of Law & Order and Southern Development with the support of the office of United Nations on drugs and crimes. Internal affairs and home affairs ministers from Bangladesh, Comorose, India, Iran, Madagascar, Mozambic, Seychelles, Tanzania and
Sri Lanka will take part in the forum. Furthermore, law enforcement officials from Pakistan, Qatar and Murusi will attend the event as well. President Maithripala Sirisena will make the keynote address on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a meeting of heads of narcotics law enforcement officials is being held in Colombo today.
