The Emirates Cricket Board, which governs cricket in UAE, has named a 23-member training squad in preparation fot the Women's T2o Cup to be held in December in UAE. Several Sri Lankan - born cricketers are included in the squad.
The tournament is set to run from December 12-21 in the United Arab Emirates. The Matches will be played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium and the Ajman Cricket Club ground.
Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Uganda, Zimbabwe and the hosts United Arab Emirates are expected to take part.
