The COPE will once again meet this afternoon to discuss the matter related to the bond scam at the Central Bank.

A dispute has arisen in the COPE between the Chairman and the UNP members over the report presented by the Chairman regarding the bond scam.

The UNP members want to file an alternative report, which, according to COPE Chairman Sunil Handunnetti, is an attempt to save former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran from blame for the bond scam in February 2015.
