Dr. Neville Fernando, founder of the Neville Fernando Hospital and the SAITM, announced yesterday that he is willing to handover the hospital to the government.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that he was not prepared to hand over the SAITM university, but he is not opposed to the hospital being taken over by the government.
Meanwhile, he said that the agents who send students abroad for studies are responsible for the mudslinging campaign against the SAITM.
He also refuted allegations against the SAITM based on the claims that bone parts from murdered rugby player Wasim Thajudeen's remains were transferred to the SAITM.
