Former UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake has been transferred to Prison ward M, which is nick named as 'Mora ward', yesterday.

This ward was used to hold Namal Rajapakshe and Yoshitha Rajapaksa before.

The Colombo High Court yesterday remanded former MP Tissa Attanayake until December 5.

Former General Secretary of the United National Party (UNP) was indicted on three counts, for committing offences under the Penal Code, International Convention on Civil and Political Rights Act and Presidential Election Act.
