Nochchiyagama police station was on hold yesterday as a 9ft crocodile has occupied the premises. 

It is believed that the crocodile came through Bandaranaike Collage, next door. It has entered the crime investigation unit’s room by pushing the unlocked door. 

Officers of Department of Wild Life Conservation later captured it and released to a forest nearby.
