The Norochcholai Lakvijaya Power Plant has gone down once again.

A tripping of the Anuradhapura transmission line has caused the plant to temporarily cease operations. Some areas in the island lost power due to this.

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) assured that power will be restored to the affected area within 2 hours.
