The Attorney General today filed a charge sheet in the Court of appeals against Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera over contempt of court.

He is charged on four counts.

The case involves an incident on January 25, when he spoke after the Magisterial inquiry on the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda was held at Homagama Magistrate's Court. Gnanasara Thera allegedly threatened officials of the AG department when he spoke.

The Appeals Court fixed the case for November 18.
