The Kaduwela Magistrate today ordered singer "Chillie" to be remanded till October 25 over the alleged attack on a 57-year-old individual.

The Thalangama Police arrested singer "Chillie" Thilanka who surrendered over the alleged assault.

The 57 year-old was allegedly assaulted by "Chillie" in the night of October 6. He was later hospitalized for treatment.

It was alleged that the singer was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

The police had not been able to arrest the singer, who surrendered to police later.
