The government, which is unable to face elections, have now planned to postpone even the elections in Cooperative Societies, UPFA MP Dilum Amunugama alleged.

He made this remark speaking at the 'Joint Opposition' rally in Ratnapura.

He challenged the government to call the Local Government Election, after which the new movement led by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be announced.
