The Indo-Pakistan tensions have grounded SAARC and unless they can resolve tensions, SAARC will not have a future, said Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

He was speaking after his meeting with India's PM Narendra Modi.

War is not an option and PM Modi is taking steps to defuse the tension, said the Sri Lankan PM.

Cross border terrorism is a big issue in SAARC and we have to discuss how to tackle it, Wickremesinghe also said.
