Northern Provincial Council Deputy Chairman Anthony Jeganathan passed away suddenly early this morning.

He was riding his motor bike in Mulliyaveli, Mullaitivu, when he had suddenly fallen off and died.

There is suspicion that he died of a heart attack.

Mullaitivu Police are conducting further investigations.
