Four people who are suspected of making an adult movie were arrested yesterday. The team was caught in action at a luxury home in Koorikotuwa, Veyangoda according to a tip off received by the Veyangoda police. The team includes the actress, director and the cameramen. As a bait, police had posed as businessmen interested in making pornographic movies.

The investigation has stated according to a complaint made by a local regarding pornographic DVD circulation in the area. The tele-drama director is said to have produced the pornographic film using the female model and the two male actors. Reputedly the movie was filmed with high definition (HD) and has used techniques which are mostly used in western pornographic films hence making it a most requested.

However the lawyer of the accused denied the allegations saying it was an independent drama rather suitable for adults.

Attanagalla magistrate Dinesh Lakmal Perera remanded all four suspects until 05th of November for further investigation.

Police mentioned that the pornographic film is already published in internet and about 6000 DVD copies have been distributed.

As reported the actress is a popular model who has acted few minor roles in tele-dramas and the director also a well-known person in tele-drama industry.
