The Buddhist radical organization Bodu Bala Sena is to stage a protest in Vavuniya tomorrow against Northern Province Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran, over the recent statements made by him.

BBS General Secretary Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero is expected to lead the protest.

The BBS said that it will draw attention to the need to protect the Sinhalese community in the North.

Wigneswaran recently led a protest in the north, which pushed against alleged 'Sinhalese colonization' and construction of Buddhist Temples in Tamil dominated areas.
