JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the JVP has prepared a plan to change the government in 2020.
Speaking at a public meeting in Lahugala, Ampara, Dissanayake said that the JVP will form a broader front with its leadership to fight for the 2020 General Election.
He argued that the country had been governed by the top ten percent of the society, irrespective of the party. People vote in one set in one election and another set in the next election. But both are from the same top tier of society, Dissanayake argued.
The other ninety percent of the society has been divided on party lines while the top ten percent is actually united, he added. This system needs to be changed for which the JVP will create the broader front, Dissanayake pointed out.
