The government has decided to convene an all party conference to take a final decision regarding the report on demarcation of local government boundaries. Faizer Mustapha, Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government says all parties will be invited in this regard. 

All political parties had opposed the report on the matter which was issued under the previous government. Therefore, it is important to convene an all party conference to prevent recurrence of such a situation. It is the intention of the government to safeguard democracy. The Minister also disclosed that the preparation of the report has reached its final stage now.
