Parliamentarian Mujibar Rahuman says the freedom enjoyed by the people in South to stage protests is now enjoyed by the people in north as well. This is clearly reflected from the protest that was staged in Northern Province recently. Today morning MP said while participating a radio programme, that political objectives of the Northern Province Chief Minister and difference of opinions among the Tamil leaders led to this protest.

Provincial councilor Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe who also joined the programme said any person has the right to live in any place he desires purchasing a land in any part of the country. The people in South has not prevented the people in North in doing so.

Therefore he condemned the responses made in this regard on an extremist manner. He also added that the government should properly respond to the accusations made by C.V.Vigneshwaren.
