Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake was involved in a heated exchange yesterday during a press conference.

The dispute erupted over some comments made on the murder of Lasantha Wickrematunge, to which Ramanayake expressed his displeasure.

He accused the journalist of implying that he was involved in some corrupt activities to which the journalist objected.

At a fit of anger, Ramanayake hit a camera of one journalist. However, later he made peace with the journalist who started an argument with him.
