The government has paid serious attention on setting up a different intelligent unit for nabbing drug traffickers. 

The initiative will be taken as a concept of President Maithripala Sirisena. Director of the presidential task force on prevention of drugs Dr. Samantha Kithala-arachchi said the new unit will be setup at the dangerous drugs control board. At the first phase drug traffickers of the Colombo district will be nabbed. 

Dr. Kithala-arachchi added that measures will be taken to rehabilitate the drug addicts as well.
