Indian Minister of State for Commerce Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Sri Lanka tomorrow. The Indian Minister would hold a meeting with International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrema and other officials to discuss issues of bilateral trade between the two countries.
The proposed negotiations on the Economic and Technology Cooperation Agreement is to feature strongly during these discussions. Minister Samarawickrema visited India in July and met Sitharaman where they reviewed the progress on the proposed ETCA between Sri Lanka and India.
