Kanishka Aluthgamage, son of UPFA MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage, is expected to appear before court today for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested by the Kirulapone police on Saturday evening and later released on police bail.

This incident came just days after the arrest of UPFA MP Keheliya Rambukwella's son Ramith for drunk driving.

Mahindananda Aluthgamage is currently in remand custody for alleged money laundering.
