Cricketer Ramith Rambukwella was arrested this morning following an accident at the Independence Avenue, Colombo 7.

Police said that Rambukwella was under the influence of alcohol.

Rambukwella is the son of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and became infamous for a controversial incident on board a plane several years back, when he tried to open a door of the plane mid air allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
