Financial Crimes Investigation Division has launched an investigation into alleged financial fraud at Sri Lanka Cricket. 

Accordingly, Chief Executive Officer of Sri Lanka Cricket, Ashley de Silva, has given a statement to FCID.

The investigation is regarding alleged corruption which took place during the construction of Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Sooriyawewa.
