The list of doctors who have requested schools for their children on the basis of their transfers were released to the media last evening, which show evidence of arm-twisting tactics by the GMOA to use the strength of their professional body to force the government into accepting unfair demands.

These lists show that several doctors who were transferred to nearby towns have requested some of the most popular schools in the country for their children. For example, two doctors who were transferred from Homagama to Maharagama have requested Ananda College Colombo for their sons on the basis of their transfers.
