A 17 feet long dead shark was found by local fishermen on Wednesday in the Mannar coast.

Fishermen said that the shark weigh around 1500kg. They further said that it is unclear where it did drift from. However, some injuries were seen in his body, indicating that it may have hit a ship or a large boat.
