The body of the medical student found from a hostel in Norris Canal Road has been released after the post mortem.

According to the police, the cause of the death cannot be determined from the post mortem. Body parts have been forwarded to the Government Analyst to conduct further investigations to determine the cause of death.

The body of DMH Seneviratne from Bibile was discovered yesterday morning. It was thought that he had committed suicide. According to the police, the only conclusion they could reach after the initial post mortem was that he had died of an overdose.
