Journalist Tharindu Jayawardena's book 'Jana Aragalayaka Diya Salakuna - Rathupaswala', will be launched on September 13 at 2.45 p.m. at the Public Library Auditorium, Colombo.

The event is hosted by the Sri Lanka Young Journalists' Association.

Veteran journalist Victor Ivan, Professor Sarath Wijesooriya and Dr. Ravindra Kariyawasam will address the gathering.

The book is based on the people's struggle for clean water at Rathupaswala which was dealt by the former government with force. Three people died when the army clashed with protesters on August 1, 2013.
