A former Embilipitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Member of the UPFA and another individual have been arrested by the Kolonna Police for an alleged attack on a youth.

According to the police, the youth was traveling in his motor bike when the former PS member and others had stopped and assaulted him. They had arrived in a van.

The Kolonna Police is conducting further investigations.
