The video of the clash between Members of Parliament on Tuesday was released, showing clear pictures of the events that took place inside the Chamber.

In this video footage, the 'Joint Opposition' MPs are seen protesting in the middle of the Chamber, when an MP from the government side is seen approaching them.

UNP MP Palitha Thewarapperuma and UPFA MP Prasanna Ranaweera were suspended for a week following the incident. Thewarapperuma, however, publicly maintained his innocence, saying that he did not attack anyone.
