Significant changes will take place in Provincial Councils held by the UPFA after May 5, President Maithripala Sirisena said today.

The President made this revelation when he met with Galle District local government representatives of the SLFP, a party source said.

The UPFA holds power in the Provincial Councils except in the north and east.
