Two Senior Deputy Inspectors of Police have been appointed under the recommendation of the National Police Commission.

Senior DIG Galle, S.A. D. F. Gunawardena and Senior DIG Police Training Unit M. R. Latif have been appointed as Senior DIGs.

Gunawardena’s appointment will be made in with effect from 16th April, and Latif’s appointment from 21st April.
