Denzil Siriwardene, father of Sri Lanka Women's Cricket Captain Sashikala Siriwardene, passed away after a brief illness yesterday, Sri Lanka Cricket announced.

His remains lie at No 305, Kuda Buthgamuwa, Angoda, and the cremation will take place at 3 pm on 01st May 2016 at Kotugahawatte Cemetery, Angoda, the announcement further said.
