S. Sivakaran, the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi Mannar youth wing leader who was arrested by the Terrorist Investigation Division yesterday was released today after obtaining a statement.

The TID said that he was questioned on people who had links with the LTTE international network.

TID also said that investigations are ongoing regarding several individuals who had links with international organizations with suspected LTTE links.

Meanwhile, former senior LTTE members Ram and Nagulan remain in TID custody.
