Puttalam District UPFA MP Sanath Nishantha Perera was admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital with minor injuries following an accident.

The vehicle he was traveling in had veered off the road, toppled and collided with a parked vehicle.

Several other individuals were injured in the accident.
