Wildlife officials have launched an operation to capture an elephant which killed two people in Anuradhapura area this morning.

The elephant attacked two people in Saliyapura and Theppankulama in Anuradhapura District early this morning.

The first attack took place at about 5 a.m. in Saliyapura and the next attack occurred about an hour later.
