Peoples Movement Against Port City are to launch protest actions against the government for resuming the Colombo Port City project today.

The event will be staged today in front of Galle Face Colombo, from 3.30pm to 6pm.

PMAPC states that Port City project will lead to soil and coastal erosion, and affect fisheries resources directly. The project also violates laws and regulations of Sri Lanka, they stressed.
