A demonstration flight of a Google Loon balloon had to be delayed this morning at Sigiriya Yowunpura camp when a tube which was used to fill air got disconnected.

A group of Google company technicians were present at the event and Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure Minister Harin Fernando was also present at the site.

The flight was scheduled to start this morning.

The minister had earlier said that this flight was planned to dispel the misunderstandings regarding the project, arising from the recent landing of a Google balloon in Gampola.
