The Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) is holding a protest in front of the Department of immigration and Emigration in Borella, Colombo.

Noting that 150 days have passed Kumar Gunaratnam's arrest, the protesters are calling for his release and an answer to his citizenship issue.

"Now that the court case in Kegalle is over, the government must address the question. This is a political issue and not a legal one. It could affect anyone else in future" FLSP Politburo Member Duminda Nagamuwa said addressing the media.
