At least 10 people are dead and more than 100 more are trapped among the debris following the collapse of a partially built flyover in Kolkata, India, foreign media reported.

The accident occurred around an hour ago.

One girder of the Vivekananda flyover near the old Ganesh Talkies collapsed and several cars were feared to be trapped, a report by The Hindu said a short while after the accident.
