An image of the possible hijacker inside the EgyptAir plane has been released on Social Media.

The man is said to be a Egyptian-US dual citizen, Ibrahim Samaha.

“The EgyptAir hijacker is a professor of veterinary medicine at Alexandria University,” Reuters India said, citing the university’s website.

He has demanded to talk with his ex-wife. police confirm that the hijacker's ex wife, Marina Parashkou, is being taken to Larnaca airport to participate in negotiations.

She is said to be a Greek-Cypriot.
