Attorney-at-Law Nuwan Bopage and another person who led the recent protest against the Meetotamulla garbage dump site, have been arrested, the Police said. 

Accordingly, they have been arrested for violating a court order issued against the protest.

The two individuals are expected to be produced before the Colombo Magistrate Courts today.

The protest movement against the Meetotamulla garbage dump launched its latest protest on December 27.
