A special meeting is to be held on 11th January, between members of Tamil National Alliance in Northern Provincial Council and the Chief Minister of Northern Provincial Council C. V. Wigneswaran.

The meeting will be held to discuss about the dispute between Wigneswaran and members of the local council. Council members are to report their opinions and suggestions in the meeting.

TNA members had planned to table a low confidence motion against Wigneswaran’s move to set up a new front against the TNA.
