The UK Edition of the Harper's Bazaar fashion magazine has listed Sri Lanka in third place among its Best Travel Destinations.

"Sri Lanka has been gaining popularity for a while now", the magazine's website said.

"The island's compact size is its main appeal. Exploring its many beaches, temples and tea trails is easy", the magazine further maintained.

The first place of the list has been awarded to Cuba and is followed by Brazil in second place. Therefore, Sri Lanka tops the list among Asian countries. Vietnam is at number 4.
