Peoples Movement Against Port City has organised a programme to gather public opinion to the environment assessment report on Port City.

The event will be held tomorrow at Centre for Society and Religion, Maradana, from 09.30am onwards.

Over 200 representatives of people who are directly affected by the Port City Project are to attend to the programme.  

PMAPC said that the report which will be compiled with the public opinion over Port City Project will be presented to the Coast Conservation Department on that day.

Environment assessment reports revealed that Port City Project has an adverse effect on environment, the PMAPC said.
