TNA leader R. Sampanthan met with former British PM Tony Blair yesterday.

Blair and Sampanthan discussed accountability and several other matters including resettlement, implementation of UN Resolution of Sri Lanka, the return of Tamil people's land and the disappeared people.

They also held discussions on a lasting political solution, the TNA said.

Blair is in the island to take part in an economic summit. He also met with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
