The Frontline Socialist Party today lodged a complaint with the Police Headquarters over a recent statement allegedly made by former Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage at a recent TV programme.

Aluthgamage allegedly stated that two FLSP activists who disappeared in 2011 were among those who had been killed.

Accordingly, Aluthgamage seems to have information on the disappearance, the FLSP argued.

Lalith Kumar Veeraraj and Kugan Murugaraj disappeared on December 9, 2011, in Jaffna. The FLSP said that the police is yet to launch an investigation on the incident.
