Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called on President Maithripala Sirisena this morning at the Presidential Secretariat.

At their meeting, the two leaders emphasized on enhancing cooperation in bilateral trade, defence production and tourism.

They focused on further consolidating their ties for the mutual benefit of their countries, Associated Press of Pakistan said.

Sri Lanka and Pakistan are to sign a agreements on countering money laundering and terrorism, health, science and technology, trade, statistics and culture during Sharif's three day visit.
