Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Sri Lanka on a three-day official visit a short while ago.
During the visit, the prime minister will hold official talks with the President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena on bilateral matters.
Both countries are to sign an agreement on countering money laundering and terrorism, the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo said earlier.
The Pakistan High Commission said that several other bilateral instruments in the areas of health, science and technology, trade, statistics and culture are envisaged to be signed during the visit.
Sharif is visiting Sri Lanka at the invitation of President Maithripala Sirisena.
