Kolonnawa Urban Council Deputy Chairman Bandula Suresh Kodagoda was arrested by the police last night for threatening the Wellampitiya OIC.

Kodagoda has allegedly threatened the OIC not to produce in courts two suspects arrested in connection with an assault incident.

Three individuals had been arrested by the Wellampitiya police on September 30 over an assault and the Deputy Chairman had threatened not to produce in courts two of them, who were his brothers.
