The road between Kokmaduwa- Imaduwa on the Matara-Galle stretch of the Southern Expressway was closed until further notice due to landslide risk at 114 km post.

The road was closed last night from 10pm until 6am today. It was opened for a short time but was closed again due to the prevailing threat.

Vehicles towards Matara must exit from Imaduwa while the vehicles coming from Matara should exit at Kokmaduwa.
